Sex, lies and kidnapping. The main ingredients that have propelled 365 DNI into a wildly popular Polish erotic film on Netflix, based on a novel written by Blanka LipiÅ„ska. The film’s story follows Laura Biel, who is stuck in a loveless relationship. In a strange turn of events, Laura gets kidnapped by Italian mafia boss Massimo Torricelli. Massimo gives her 365 days to live and fall in love with him. Hmmm.... Like the film, Michele Morrone has become a global sensation and the Polish film is essentially a knockoff of Fifty Shades Of Grey — only with more sex, more nudity and a luxury yacht. The Italian hunk is also a budding pop star. Michele released an album called Dark Room on Valentine’s Day (of course, he did) and one of the songs, “Hard For Me,” features in 365 Days — propelling it into the top 40 on iTunes worldwide. Ah yes, look out for the sequel. |
