The production of The Batman is officially underway. Director Matt Reeves has confirmed it with his tweet under the caption “#DayOne #TheBatman”, showing what appears to be Robert Pattinson on set. WOW. There’s 18 months on June 25 2021 to go before we see it on the big screen!
These images are also a BIG moment for fans, as the film saw delays, a change in director, script rewrite and ultimately, a change in the main role of Batman – resulting from Ben Affleck’s decision to pull out of the DC Extended Universe entirely. The star was originally signed on to handle all three of those roles with Warner Bros.
