At 41, he's undoubtedly the Instagram darling / cowboy of the music world. One whose wardrobe (sometimes, lack thereof) is like a colourful ferris-wheel depending on the moment. He unfolds his melodramatic persona that's somewhat comedic (even removing black heads for the world to see),  at times moving, other times, downright serious. Still, @diplo's (real name Thomas Wesley Pentz Jr.) a figure of controversy, game-on for just about anything, he'll make you sit up – and  listen.

"Halloween felt like a ten day festival this year, me I'm working every day traveling and playing at parties from Vegas to Miami.. but on the actual day of halloween I flew up towards the North Pole to play an armed forces entertainment show in Greenland. It was 16 hours of connecting flights to reach straight up towards no where .. there is a small Air Force Base that was bustling during the cold war and that now serves as a missile defense and space monitoring center. It's literally the nights watch from game of thrones mixed with Top Gun. It's one of the most bizarre places I've ever been or will visit in my life.. While everyone was raving back in the mainland. I was up north playing bingo and exploring the Arctic with some of the coolest men and women in the world. 
These people work hard as hell in one of the most desolate places in the world .. we had a small show that night but we raged like it was the last night on Earth.. during the two hours of sunlight. I got to walk around in my walrus costume (I researched that they were native to the island ) and also we sadly ran over an Archie (that's the name for polar foxes which are everywhere running around ) The Chaplin ✝️ was actually driving and he was devastated.. I took a photo of it so that everyone could have a moment of silence for this little fox but decided not to post cause it's guts were kind of everywhere .

I also did a quick outfit change in the snow which no one understood, just to get a pic of me wearing the @nickiminajx @fendi collab because it feels like the North Pole is one of the only places I could pull it off.. we also discovered a flooded mid century missle silo that blew my mind and was covered in ten feet of solid ice that we could walk over. It felt like a cold war time capsule. This will probably be my lowest performing post of the month but I really wanted to show some love to all the amazing soldiers and civilians (Danish and Greenlandic) that work so hard in such tough conditions .. it was extremely humbling and special experience and I wouldn't have wanted to spend last Thursday any other way tbh".

I even started to sleep with my potato and carrying it in a special potato sack while i perform around the globe .. potatoes promote good flow of your chi and help rid your mind body and soul of bad negative energy, .. this picture is a yam I found in africa, it is considered a master healer and helps reduce anxiety, removes emotional blocks and makes me more fertile. It's insane that have spent my whole life without a potato in my pocket and now i'm in awe of the results .. there are many varieties such as russet potatoes, sweet potatoes, fingerlings, yams and also cassavas. I can answer questions in the comments and will be doing speaking engagements to teach the power of potatos all through 2020 ...".
